View Software strengthens its position in the aquaculture industry through the acquisition of Pixelwerk AS

–We have had success in the aquaculture industry with our solution View Maintenance, and with the acquisition of Pixelwerk AS we are increasing our focus on this exciting and rapidly growing industry. We seek to ensure that we have solutions that meet the requirements and needs of the industry and provide more value to customers through the interaction and digitalization of manual processes. Pixelwerk AS has developed a modern and user-friendly internal control system adapted to the needs of the industry and has within a short time gained a good foothold in the market. InControl Aquaculture strengthens our portfolio of IT-solutions, says CEO of View Software, Sten-Roger Karlsen.

 Increased competence and capacity in aquaculture

–This merger will increase our capacity and expertise in aquaculture. We have a dominant position in industrial maintenance in Norway, and together with Pixelwerk we will be able to offer a more comprehensive solution. This is a very exciting industry that has great potential for efficiency through the digitalization of manual processes. Solutions developed in and for Norway are likely to set the tone for what is happening in both sea and land based fish farming internationally in the years to come – a journey we would like to be a part of, says Sten-Roger Karlsen.
