Viking Venture invests in Jamix to accelerate growth in the professional kitchen software market
Viking Venture is happy to announce its third Finnish portfolio company by investing in Jamix, a software company that helps professional kitchens manage their operations. The investment will support Jamix’s expansion in the US and accelerate innovation in making kitchens work more efficiently.

Helping professional kitchens run more efficiently

After being the market leader in Finland for several years, Jamix started working towards the US market in late 2016. Since then, Jamix has seen strong growth in the US professional kitchen software market, especially towards colleges and universities. The company has more than 40 customers in the US, with prestigious universities like Yale, UCLA, and Berkeley and food service providers like Thomas Cuisine and AVI Foodsystems on the customer list.
