Dear friends and business partners!

We are very humble and proud to report that despite the global pandemic, 2021 has been the best year ever for Viking Venture.

During 2021 we invested more than NOK 600 million and made two new platform investments. We also established Norway’s first ever SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) with a total size of NOK 600 million. Our portfolio now consists of 15 B2B (Business-to-business) growth stage software companies.

We listed EcoOnline and Ørn software and made three exits. The exit of EcoOnline being the most special to us. EcoOnline has become the European leader in HMS software seven years after our first investment. Recurring revenues have grown by 10X and enterprise value increased by more than 100 times.

Our portfolio companies have continued to grow consistently, made 23 add-on acquisitions and raised more than NOK 2 000 million in debt.

Now it´s time to reflect, relax and take special care of our nearest and dearest. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
