Effective 30th September, Mr. Inge Hovd Gangaas is appointed CEO of Memfoact AS and tasked to lead the company towards opportunities in the Oil & gas industry.
Memfoact AS is a spin-off from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway and has developed a carbon membrane capable of separating carbon dioxide from methane more efficiently than current membrane offerings in the market. With unparalleled selectivity, the carbon membrane offer the Oil & Gas industry a way of sweeting natural gas and biogas with little to no hydrocarbon loss in the process, increasing profitability and reducing the environmental impact of methane lost to the atmosphere.
Inge Hovd Gangaas has more than 10 years of experience from working with advanced technology start-up companies:
- 5 years with NTNU Technology Transfer AS focusing on nanotechnology and materials science projects, one year stationed in Boston
- US working for the Norwegian Research Council and Innovation Norway on international projects and best practices in technology transfer
- 5 years at Investinor AS, a government VC fund working with venture capital investments in technology companies in the Oil & Gas industry
